Amazon books

Hi, im going on a trip to the peruvian amazon in july, im going with operation wallacea its a volunteer conservation expedition. And hopefully will provide the chance to see some awesome fish! As fish population monitoring is on the agenda!

however im having difficulty finding any books or literature that covers the fishes of the amazon drainage comprehensively, or indeed at all with any detail, i would be most grateful for any recommendations of books that you guys may be aware of, that may be of use to me.

just google for volunteer conservation, there are a bunch of organisations doing similar things.

I like the aqualog books. I've only read a couple of them but the stingray book has been on my bedside table for months. I've lost count of how many times I've read it.
