What are some cool bottom feeders for an amazon theme tank. nothing too big and it has to be native to the amazon river.

Many loricariids are from the amazon and its tributaries. A little more specific as to what you are looking for will help. Do you want something flashy, or something odd, or just looking for a "clean up" crew member?
im looking for the clean up crew, something that will clean up after the arowana. The aro is the obvious center of attention in the tank Im looking for something equily cool and unique to match him, but that will still get the job done.
plecos .... or if you like regular cats there are lots of them .. try the Jaguar catfish, if available . It dosen't get too big..

Polys are all from africa, most FW eels are from asia, some are from NA, and a couple from Africa. Look for a tig, if you have the money, but they are not cheap.
hey thanks for the advice everyone! I didnt think S.A. had polys, but I had to ask. The Tig is expensive but I might do it. There are plenty of other cats from the amazon if i change my mind.
