Amazon frogbit

What do I need to make this plant proliferate? Just got a few pieces from a friend as a means to lower my nitrates. I have it floating at the top and I got a light for it.

in my experience i have never had to do anything special. just good lighting and it spreads quite rapidly. i would have to remove some every week it went that crazy.
