Have you tested your water?
No
If I did not test my water...
...I recognize that I will likely be asked to do a test, and that water tests are critical for solving freshwater health problems.
Do you do water changes?
Yes
What percentage of water do you change?
71-80%
How frequently do you change your water?
Every two weeks
If I do not change my water...
...I recognize that I will likely be recommended to do a water change, and water changes are critical for preventing future freshwater health problems.
One of my amazons has a partially cloudy eye as well as some whitish rings on its side by the tail. I assume it got in a fight with another puffer based on what I’ve read and seen pics of (specifically puffer bite marks) and the cloudy eye would be some type of reaction as well. This typically wouldn’t concern me, but with puffers and infection, I’d rather not chance it.
Should I just keep the water clean or try some melafix to help out?

I treated melafix for a week and still no better.
I read that a white patch on the eye could be columnaris? I really hope not.
Should I try a daily water change for a bit and see if it gets better?

I think it will take some time. My ornate had cloudy eye and it only cleared up after an entire year. I didn’t think too much of it.

If it’s an injury then meds won’t work. Except waiting it out and providing clean water.
