Anyone have any accurate information on their max size? I've heard it's 3 inches and then I hear it's 6 inches?

Anyone have any photos of one full-grown?

Cheers

Max size about 2 and 3/4 to 3 inches (a little puffer)

here's my guy all pissed off at 3"

Is he 3" from snout to end (exc. tailfin)? He doesn't look that big, the same as mine really! But I know you can't really tell when there's nothing next to him to compare size in terms of perspective.. but it's a difficult one!

He looks EXACTLY the same as mine pattern wise... he's laying on the substrate there, relaxing isn't he? ha ha

he is not relaxing, he is mad and giving J-P the evil eye for moving him to another tank...

Under normal circumstances you will rarely see a SAP just laying around.

CLAY!!!!!!!!! You know better!!!!
That is a max length that is not average!!!!!!! LOL..Sorry, I had to go there!

J-69, your little guy is going to be a little guy, and if for some freakish, abnormal reason it gets any bigger your tank would not be able to handle the bioload.

For size perspective, one of J-P's SAP videos (It is my favorite)

3" not including the tail.. just a little bit longer than a man's pinky finger.

Ihad two of these until ick got them :( one was maxed size at 4" in a 30gal. They are awsome guys to watch. They love amazon sword plants also! Im currently looking for these little guys to buy, I want two more, but cant find them anywhere for sale!

I absolutely LOVE my two SAPs. They are like little rockets. I am currently looking for another one to add to the tank. I am also having trouble finding them, but I think one of my LFS is actually going to get more in this week :)
