Hey guys. I just bought a good sized Amazon Sword today and it has this long extension with two smaller swords attached to it. Is this how the plant reproduces? Should I take the baby plant off myself and plant it in the substrate, or does it come off on its own? I've included some pictures of the sword, plus a few full tank shots. The tank itself is still in its early stages, as this is my first planted tank. You'll have to excuse the dwarf hairgrass. I'm not sure if I planted it right. Hopefully it will fill in after some time. I still have a bit more aquascaping to do. I plan on adding a couple more plants and some rockwork. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

yes it is i pushed the plant starts into the ground then when the sword plant was about .5 to .25 the size of the original you can cut the link thing that goes between them
