I had 2 large amazon swords in a 36bow with dual t5ho lights and decided to redo that tank and one change was eliminating thecwwords so I threw them in my 125 with a 48" marineland double bright. The first week or 2 I didn't have root tabs in the 125, I also have severum and silver dollars but never saw them bothering the plants. I've gone through the melt off when bringing uome jew plants but never when switching plants from one tank to another. I know the swords have extensive roots and was lot ng for thoughts as to whether the melting was from switching tanks or the lack of tabs in the new tank for a week or two?
