I have about 10+ swords that I want to grow really big and with the lighting not being t5s it's taking to long. Want to know if I can grow them under the sunlight I would plant them in a potting mix and leave by the sliding glass door that gets quite a bit of sunlight, the plants will go back in the tank eventually when they are big enough

Are you using ferts? Or do you have enough waste being generated to feed them? Amazons are pretty hardy. Mine grow like weeds using the most basic lighting.

Only excel I have two 48 T12 5700k daylight bulbs on for about 10 hours a day about 20"-24" above the gravel bed
