amazon themed tank, ideas???

I'm setting up a 125 with ONLY eartheater species. I'm wanting to do a 3d background. Of coarse DIY is the cheapest way but the aquaterra backgrounds are awesome.

I have lots of driftwood that I plan on putting in the tank but they don't match the color of the trees on aquaterra's backgrounds.


I am trying to make the tank as close to their habitat as possible but I do want to have the WOW factor going on too!!!


So shoot me some ideas Pics of your favorite setups too if got some.

BUMP, anyone?

I googled last night until I could barely keep my eyes open. Couldn't find any ideas that really tickled my fancy. I've got everything I need to setup the tank but I need to decide on my decor before cycling the tank.

Not a perfect representation of the tank, as the lighting is a lot more subdued without the camera flash. This has a lot of amazon fish and plants, but is set up more to suit my tastes than actual setting.

Lots of leaf litter, driftwood, softer lighting. www.mongabay.com has some good biotope descriptions.
