I am considering changing my tank around to try and mimic the environment of the amazon to suit my Raphael Catfish.
I will cheat and keep my clown loaches as I can't part with them right now. Same with my Zebra Loaches, so it won't be a complete biotope. But at least the driftwood and plants is something I would like to mimic their environment. They will most likely still have 3 hoplo's in there too, which i believe are from the same rivers as the Raphaels.
What type of plants are from this region which would be readily available at the LFS. I am also hoping there are some floating plants or possibly a type of lilly plant.
