hey guys, I'm thinkin of setting up a really nice Amazon tree boa tank. I really want to make it look as nice and natural as possible so I was thinking of adding live plants. Is t okay to add live plants with them? Will they be annoyed by the bright light the plants might need? Although I fI put plent of cover that shouldn't be a problem...right?

Just make sure that the plants are fairly strong and will support the body of the snake. I did a live plant display with three yearlings. They flattend most of the smaller stuff.

Is that the one at Underwater Adventures? I like that setup.

I wouldn't be putting like small plants. Just som moss on the ground and some large air and ground plants.

I have ried those pothos hanging plants , very good cover and the snakes love them .

Amazons are fairly hardy and make great look but dont touch pets. I think that a nice "natural" display for them would be killer.

yeah that's what I was thinking. I nice display amazon setup

Strong plants that don't necessarily need loads of light would do best (if you can't find anything you could have a couple and rotate them...) They tend to like smaller branches and will be very happy with something dense with leaves.
