Was just thinking of possible stock lists for my 125 I'm planning on getting in late Jan. Was wanting to have both my jack and gold saum in there with a blue Texas and 3 yellow labs and 3 electric blue Africans. Is it possible as these are meant to be the least aggressive Africans?

Dont do it. The fish dont know how to react to the others aggression which causes stress. Stick with 1 continent and you will find much more success and happiness in your tank.
I thought the same thing once, They are all cichlids, they will be fine and can fend for themselves. WRONG.
There are certain cases where Africans can work in SA tanks, but I wouldnt suggest anybody under 5-10 years of fishkeeping to try it. It usually leads to chewed up fins on your SA fish and dead africans.
Plus a saum, JD, and Tex fill up a 125. Thats already too much aggression for that tank.

The African rift lake water parameters are NOTHING even similar to the CA/ SA cichlids.

At least, go with an african riverine cichlid that has somewhat similar water parameter requirments. A couple pollini tilapia, kribensis or Jewel's "might" work out.

I know that it is not right to mix fish from different parts of the world, but I have kept africans and americans together, you know why....... CUZ THIS IS AMERICA!! LOL all kidding aside, it all depends on the fish you keep. I wouldn't keep peacock bass with african cichlids that fit in its mouth.
