I have two NKC registered American bulldogs that I am willing to give away to the RIGHT homes only. Either must be delivered by myself within a reasonable distance. After making a determination through conversation that I've found the right home I will then deliver the dog(s) and stick around for a while to make sure everything goes ok.
First is Miss Moonshine. She's about 2 years old. She's had two litters of puppies. She will not bred any more. She got mastitis in one glad with her last litter that is still a little enlarged. Not badly and it continues to contract. She has some food allergies that she shows in her skin, but I have her on Purina Dog Chow now and she is fine. Her hair starts thinning when she's showing this. She is a very sweet bulldog and really just wants to be loved on. She is a little protective, but not very much at all. I give all of my dogs attention, but she needs more. She's 100% crate trained and mostly house trained. She just doesn't stay inside not in a crate unless we're right there with her. She's mostly Johnson type, but has a little bit of standard bulldog in her as well. She's good with male dogs and kids.
Next is Ruger. He's 50% JDJ Johnson and 50% "country" standard. He's a BIG boy... He weighs about 100lbs and is SOLID. He is also VERY high drive. I have done bite and protection work with him and have also started him as a catch dog. He LOVES working. Being that he is so high drive, he needs to go an expereinced bully owner. Preferably someone that is going to work him. He has also sired two litters and thrown one puppy that seems to have bad hips. He will also not be bred any more. He is good with females and generally good with males. He is also good with kids as long as he's got space to move around.
