So, I have 6 american bullfrog tadpoles, 3 of which are basically frogs with tails. For being such a seemingly common frog, I can't find any decent care information on them. Any help?
Bulls are very easy to care for except for one thing: they can and will jump hard enough to break their noses or even kill themselves when they hit the glass. When I kept them I taped an opaque piece of paper over the bottom 8" or so of the tank to help prevent them trying to leap through the glass. Also provide plenty of cover to keep them from spooking.
put a flat piece of wood or something, i use wood and rock, (preferably that slope) into shallow water that covers about half their body when sitting, and can submerge under
throw some floating water plants in and your done (change water once a week or so)
this is basically my green frogs enclosure, and ive had him since December
