American Bullfrog refuses to eat

Hi guys, I recently acquired a American bullfrog. He is in a 20 gallons aquarium but the problem is that he didn't ate since I had him (about eight days). I offered him earthworms and some ants but he didn't even look at them. I want to know if this is normal, because I originally thought they were very voracious.

ps: He's not a tadpole, but a juvenile about 5-6 cm max.

how do you have him setup? if hes not eating then chances are theres something wrong with the way hes being kept.

Well, he was from a friend that has many reptiles and amphibians, but I asked him and that bullfrog was caught in the wild... I didn't know so now I can imagine why he didn't ate (probably stressed and etc.)

For the setup, he was in a 20 gallons, filled gravel and water. I also added some woods logs. I offered him some earthworms, ants, crickets and even of my guppy frys, but without any success.

Yeah, I use that verb tense because he passed away 3 days ago. I was very dissapointed and I don't know if I should continue with amphibians..
