American Cichlid documentary

I have recently watched Jewel of Rift on Youtube and I would like to know if there is a similar documentary for American Cichlids?

Not to my Knowledge. The best we can do is River Monsters, of corse if it doesn't grow over 5ft or rip the flesh from your bones there is no chance of it being featured.

Same here. Sometimes on Amazon documentaries you get the occasional Oscar, geos, pikes and p bass that swim into the picture, but no info on them. And forget CA cichlids for anything on TV. It's funny how African cichlids are so more popular. Maybe it's easier to film and document in the African Rift Valley lakes too. I also think there is still some debate on new world cichlid evolution.
