American Flag Fish

Flag fish are little jerks. They nip at fish that won't defend themselves and many develop a taste for not only algae but your aquarium plants as well. They're better off in a temperate tank with fish that can take care of themselves like rosy barbs, paradise fish, etc. than a standard community tank.
I love those flags, too bad their'e blaclisted here, kinda makes me think of the dessert hole pupfish.

You could try adding a few more females to disperse his aggression if you're sure the females aren't bothering anyone.
I really wish I knew. The blacklist is 12 pages long and doesn't make a lot of sense in terms of fish species.
In an aquarium book I have they say that the flag tail has a nasty streak that can appear any time, also that their'e peaceful toward other species but vicious towards their own and that this can be controlled by either keeping a single fish or keeping six to spread aggression and that their herbivorous.
There only bothering the Hatchets though , i have an Angelfish in the tank that they wont even look at. If the aggression continues im gonna have to rturn to my lfs or put in my 110g. I had my 20g for 2 weeks and this is the first day there showing any aggression
