Anyone have one or used one? Looking to purchase one, and want a few user feedback on it.

hmmm..guess no one has one yet. oh well...:(

Let me know if it works, I could use that too.

 So I'm going to be the guinea pig and buy one? :grinno:

American Marine says it was designed for marine use. Would it be accurate in freshwater? They don't say on their website. It must also be calibrated in calibration fluid before each use, cleaned, and stored completely dry. It costs over $200. I question whether there is much time savings over chemical testing, and if it's worth the price.

Exactly! Which is why I was hoping some MFK'ers might have one set up in a fW system.

Its not so much about cost savings with the chemical kits, but conveince and accuracy.:grinno:

Those would be nice if you could leave it setup and running 24/7! Even with an alarm for ppm of 20 and over, or whatever your preference is.

I'm assuming the meter can be left on 24/7, but I didn't see anything about an alarm, which would be a cool thing to have.

Still hedging on picking one up. Maybe later on today I'll call or email American Marine and get some more info. :D

If you do get any info back, post it up, would be interesting I think. Hopefully the price comes down on them as well in the near future.

It's not a monitor, it's a portable tester. I looked it up.
