not meaning to complain lol
but is there a way to reduce the appetite of a dat?

I mean, i dont mind as such, but my AT, came in at 3 inches, and i had an indo at double the size, the indo was growing fast thens uddenly the AT is not bigger thant he indo, its fat too!
it will eat what ever is in the tank

Economy pellets, massivore, aro sticks, shrimp, BH
anything i put in there it will devour to a point that its belly is huge, and i cant stop it as i have to feed the others lol

anyway, its a beauty of a fish!! but just wondering ......... is there a reason why it eats uncontrollably?

You cant really reduce its appetite but you can reduce feeding if you think you over do it :)

Awesome tank! I dont know what you can do to slow down the AT growth rate. Maybe feed bigger portions of food IE tilapia. Sometimes my less agressive fish have difficulty getting food, so I throw some big chunks of tilapia for the PIGS to choke on for awhile- so the other can get something to eat.

this is always a problem when you have a tank full of fish with a greedy fish that like who likes to eat lots. sometimes you just have to go with it, that silver is a cracker though.
nice one.
