So the guy at my lfs sold me this AminOmega to put on my pellets before I feed my Cichlids. I just now noticed that the one he sold me was for marine fish. Will this hurt my Cichlids?

what is it for? but if its just like a supplement of some type that only goes on the food then i doubt it will do anything to them

What's the purpose of this stuff? Does it induce feeding or is it some sort of supplement? You may not even need to chance using it. If you buy a quality brand of food, it should have enough nutrition to benefit your fish without adding anything to it. Some even contain garlic to aid in feeding habits and to help with reducing internal parasites. This combined with the occasional frozen and fresh foods should be good enough for your fish. But I guess it depends what the function of this product is.

Just looked it up ......... personally I would never use this supplement due to the lipid (fat) content of 20%. At best, use it once a week, or better yet, return it to the LFS and ask for a refund.

If you're feeding a decent pellet food all of the ingredients found in this supplement are already in your food. Most of what you are paying for is water, and the container. And as previously mentioned you do not want to be feeding any cichlid a diet that contains 20% fat, at least not on a regular basis.
