So yesterday i noticed a white haze on my 2 larger retics.. then a white flake like patch was clinging to my female. i had just added feeders a few days ago for the gar, and i missed a few dead ones floating in the plants. I did a water change last night and removed the dead fish, cleaned the intake tube ect... and did another water change today, and the hazing and flake are gone. all rays are eating fine, and active.
Am i safe in assumeing this was the issue? or is it a symptom of something else? i did not test the water as i had limited time and chose to do the water change last night. today the water tests fine ( 0/0/under 20) the rays are deffinately getting big for the tank and i have the filter stuffed with as much bio as it will hold. we had some issues with the new sump for the 120 but its getting addressed tomorrow. right now im doing 50% approx every 3 days. im thinking on cutting back on feeding and increasing wcs to every other day until the 120s cycled.
hubby almost freaked out so i was asked to run this past you guys.
