I picked up a couple of new pups last night. The smaller female has what
appears to me to be ammonia burns on her underside.
Photos were taken about 30-45 min after added to tank. So I figure it was from
shipping. Were only in bag for appx 9 hours.
Water parms were tested before adding them, hour or so after, again this
morning and when I got home this evening.
Every time everything was excellent.
Have added 2 lbs of salt per 135 gal tank. Temp 85 and lights off.
Filtering 800-900 gph, have air added, plus 1200 gph PH.
She has been feeding on cut up earthworms before I received her
but has failed to eat since. Breathing is a little heavy, but she remains hidden
in the substrate. Estes Ultra Reef.
Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

5" male is Moto and the smaller 4" female is half marble we figure since
we aren't sure which male is the father. Guess I should have added a
couple of photos.

They should be OK, just need a few days of rest.

That doesn't look bad at all. Make sure they are free of any major parasites. Quarantine them in a place that is dark, with excellent water conditions. Feed them as much as they will eat and salt the tank- 3lbs/100gal.

i would lower the temperature a bit. 85 is a little on the high side.
i keep my rays at 81-81.5 and their doing great! and i just got them!

ur ray is looking good however, just let it settle and continue what ur doing.

85-86 is good when they have anything wrong with them... add salt if you can... higher temp means higher metabalism just make sure you have a good air stone in there higher temp means lower oxygen levels

I have salt 3lb for a 135. My biggest concern is she hasn't eaten since recieving her
and is not active at all.
She was on night crawlers since birth. But has refused them since I received her.
I know it is only been three days but she is just a month old today. Have the tank covered with a blanket as to block any light.
Plenty of air I did turn off the PH thinking maybe to much current.

give them a few days... tank temp 84 give or take and dark like you have it and keep offering the food... also do a water change and drop your salt level...

what does turned off your PH mean.... and rip your airstones let them flow to there fullest
