Im thinking about getting another silver(i have 4 so far) but my 125 isnt quite ready yet, ammonia is at 0.25 should i hold off the arowana or buy it and see how it goes thanks

You should get all the nitrogen related parameters under control. Ammonia=0, nitrites =0, nitrates below 50 (but preferably around 20.) As long as you see any ammonia or nitrites, you'll be taking risks by adding more fish.

You also need a much larger tank than a 125.

My ammonia is now at 0 i just got my arowana yesterday PS:my other arowanas are in my 3,000 pond in my garage

Why would you want to chance exposing any new fish to an uncycled tank /ammonia ???
You have a 3000g pond with Aros so u should be no stranger to tank cycling.
Just seemed an odd question
