I'm sure this question has been asked and answered many times so, sorry in advance. What is the best and or quickest method for getting ammonia out of tap water. Mine is treated with chloramine and after treating for chlorine, ammonia is comeing out of the tap at 2.0. Help.

TRY PRIME BY SEACHEM

:iagree:
You can try for a cheaper brand that removes ammonia like prime dose, something from aquaone or something like that. But prime is really good.

Ammo lock

Thanks for the suggestions. I've heard negative things abiut ammo lock so I am reluctant to try it.

I switched to Prime and will not go back. The price really is not that bad. Very little is needed. $10 for a bottle lasts for a long time even with larger tanks.

Heck a 2L bottle is $36 online and can treat 20k gallons. Wish treating illness was this cheap! LOL

I use both actually.
