Amono shrimps/ Japonica Shrimps?

Okay In my RCS tank The light is too strong and I was wondering if Japonica/ amano shrimps would eat green and brown algae?

Will they cross with Red cherries or harm them or baby fish in any way? (I have a few baby Betta's in there and a snail)

I heard that Amono Shrimps and Cherries will breed. Is that true? One is Caridina Japonica and the other is Neocaridina heteropoda. So yes.. no...?

PI says they need brackish conditions to breed properly... so ... yeah?

I have seven or eight Japonicas with four cherries and two banannas in my prawn tank (he doesn't bother them, don't ask.. makes no sense). If they start breeding, I'll let you know. Was not aware that Japonicas needed brackish water for their young (i know the prawn does). That's not to say it isn't true.

It looks like Japonicas do not require brackish water for breeding/young/etc.
