Three 6 inch Bass, and five 5 inch Blood Parrots, is that to many fish for a 125 gallon tank....Please advise.........Thanks in advance.

Should be ok for a while until the P Bass start to really grow. Do you have the power heads aimed at the FX5 intakes to push any debris towards it?

I know they get a bad rap, but I like undergravel filters. If I am using gravel in a non drilled tank, I use them with power heads

I would slowly remove the blood parrots as the peacock bass grow.

Depends how often you wanna do wc's. Thats not too many fish. In my 120 I have

5 cichla 10-14"
4 indo's 6-7"
9" ngt
17 polys 10-17"
6" striped raphael

I do wc's every other day....a good 80-90%. And sometimes a 50% in between. Im upgrading tanks in the next week or so:) Its all about water changes.
