amount of sand needed for 240 g tank

Going to change from gravel to sand, in my 240 g tank the measurements are 6 feet long by 2 feet wide and 3 feet tall if needed. The sand im going to use is pool filter sand, it comes in 50 lb bags. The questions is would 2 bags be eneuff for the tank with a bed about 2 - 2.5 inches of sand ? any help would be appreciated thanks in advance

i would get 4 bags... an then go from there.. but that should do it

for a 6x2 footprint about 150lbs of sand should be good to have a 2" bed or around there. should be more than enough.
i got 100lbs of sand in my 180 which has a bigger floor footprint and have about 1.5 -2" except it gets pushed away by
my powerheads...lol
