Forgive me for the substandard photo quality, I used my phone to snap a quick picture after a water change.

Anyhow, it's been many (many) months since I've done an update on Grissy. He's still pushing 12" and mean/bossy as ever. Truly a wonderful family pet. I hope to get the Nikon out in a couple of weeks and actually take some nice shots. Enjoy!

Haha. Mine has really calmed down. He rarely does stuff like that. He still tries to bite me when I do water changes but other than that he just hangs out.

It's a coarse-grade PFS. Not as fine as sand, but not as thick as gravel.

Beautiful fish! How long did it take for him to get that big? I have a female I got when she was about 5 inches and she's pushing 8 inches now, I've had her for a little under a year. Hoping she keeps getting bigger!
