Hey does anyone keep these? What is there temperment like? If you could supply me with a profile to these it would be appreciated aswell.

well i don't have them .. but i like to help u ..

so there is some info i got ( although there is not enough info about it in net ) :

ph : 7 to 7.5

GH : 5 - 8

temp : 23 to 27

Family

: Cichlidae Origin : Costa Rica, Panama, Colombia Length : 22 cm - 9" Min.length aquarium : 180 cm - 70"

This fish is very aggressive to species of their own kind. You should keep them as a couple. The best way is to raise a group of unrelated juveniles to sexual maturity and allow them to pair off. The best pair should be chosen for breeding and other pairs should be removed. The aquarium should be setup with a lot of driftwood and stones that form caves and hiding places. The fish will dig up the substrate material, so it is best to use no plants except they are well anchored. Enough free swimming space should be left. A strong filter and a frequent changing of the water is necessary. They are omnivorous. You should give them a great variety of live and frozen food. You better give them no red worms.
Breeding with a good pair is easy. Eggs are laid and fertilized on a flat substrate. Both parents take care of the fry. When the young fishes are swimming free you can feed them new born baby brine shrimp and after a few days fine dry flakes

sorry man that all what i can help u with ..

Treat them like most CA sifters (rostratus, robertsoni, etc.). Sand substrate is a big plus, and small sinking foods are best for feeding (I used primarily very small NLS pellets). They graze all day long and aren't really cut out to eat big chunky food, so keep it small. Along those lines, they can definitely be outcompeted at feeding time by big eaters, so I always feed floaters along with the small sinkers. The floaters keep the pigs occupied!

As far as conditions are concerned, they come from hard and alkaline waters, but they tolerate a wide range. High O2 levels may be needed also.

Here's a shot of my old male:
