Rocky - He's an Amphilophus Amarillo 2 yrs old. He's about 9.5in long and weighs over 3 pounds, Cora is an Amphilophus Midas about 2 yrs old. She is about 6in long and about a pound.
The babies are 9 months old. 67 survived out of over 150 hatched out fry. Right now I have 21 left.
Your estimate is way off man. Go look at a bass weight to size chart! They are probably the closest in bulk i could compare it to. I had a 13 inch red devil and he only weighed 1.5 lbs (on a scale) filled out! Your probably lucky if its 1 pound at 9.5 inches! I bet you have some great fishing stories! Ha ha you joker!
