I picked up this one and 2 other smaller ones possibly a pair. I try to post pics in a few. My question is is it actually an Amarillo? It doesn't seem to have the yellow. Maybe stressed out too. Anyway I thought I'd share. The guy said they came from COA.

Hard to be sure. It all boils down to if you believe what the guy said.

Regardless, it's an awesome fish.

Here is a couple more. My camera is horrible I apologize. The yellow is starting to show.
2 of 3. The other is inside a log. Lol

No doubt--very nice fish. They definitely look like Amarillo. They' look Amph all the way. I definitely wouldn't call them cross breeds

How big are they? What size tank? Any idea how old they are?

2 are about 6-7 or so the other about 10. They're in a 120 quarantine for now. I'm not sure how old, I didn't think of asking at the time. I will try to e-mail the guy later.

I would love to see more pics. IMO, amarillo is probably the most appealing aesthetically out of the midas group. Also, they seem to get to a nice size but not giant like a chancho.
