My Xilo hooked up with a beautiful Vermillion Red Devil in my community tank. They ended up spawning three times before he killed her. The fry are dark and some get the Xilo Bars but end up going piebald. This one is from the first spawn and one of the biggest. I like the black tipped fins and the Black face.

Would be cool if it keeps the piebald pattern as it matures. I like it.

A fish in fading is not what you call Pied. It does not stay that way. The Creamsicle IS the Piedald. Just like a Piedbald ball Python. idk why ppl call a fish in fading piedbald.

+1 A fader often has dark patches, or streaks before it fades to orange, this in no way makes it pied or piebald. A pied or piebald fader develops the secondary color (usually white) after it fades to orange, it in effect goes through the fading process again, but this time when the dark muddy color patches/streaks fade they will be white underneath.

Creamsicle or piebald/pied midas, clearly not just orange.
