hey guys i left a cucumber in my tank to long and my nitrites went up lol so i treated with amquel +. it says to treat every 24 hours. but it doesnt say if i should do a water change or not. i know with ich meds you have to do a water change in between treatments, but idk about this.

alrighty. well seems like one treatment was enough. all the fish are acting normal again. still very small amount of nitrites, barely detectable but not enough to bother the fish anymore. still sad about the loss of a pleco though. for all of you out there, plecos are very sensitive to nitrites. so are serpae tetras, but i lucked out and didnt loose any of those.
