Been there x2, 75 for a week, Anna frank's house + diamond district, hash bars. 1979, canal boat for 2 weeks. Caught tench and eels. Free sex, lotsa hash, good beer. this is the country that now has a legal hash bar + brothrel at the airport. If you remember the 70's, you weren't there!

Currently, Off season, Aroound $2,000?wk inc air from east coast. Motel six type hotels with really short beds on outer edge of Amsterdam. Don't know first hand. My guess comes from information in Nat Geo.Trav. Mag. I'm betting the canal boats are3 running around 6 grand a week but they sleep six and include docking and bragging rights. Don't know prices but they sell it by loaded gram pipe. Odds are $20- $40/gr. Smoke it in the club or be willing to pay seriuos ticket if you get caught smoking in public. Rooms and boats were considerered private. Many museums, huge red light district, Cheap crystalware,Great pancakes.
