an arowana bite

I know that arowanas have the bony tongue to grind up food, but if an arowana bites another fish, can the arowana actually leave a bite mark, like a fin nip mark? I don't think arowanas have teeth

No clue but ive been bit by one of my chilis and it left a small cut. Not sure if its from the tongue or not though.

They actually have teeth. They just have a bony tongue. But they don't really bite that much as jump out of tanks.

mine bit an 18inch tiger shovelnose in half...the two body parts were just hanging together by some skin...i have also been bitten in the past and it left a nice horseshoe shaped row of teeth marks...

Arowana have teeth...they are short, stout and pointed for gripping and sawing...
