from an asian/(japanese in this case) perspective, its common acceptance that almost anything can be considered food.

while we pay 100s to buy some of these fish, they are showing us how to eat them. lol
this guy in particular went to the amazon and caught nearly everything you can imagine in at least one species group.

the explanations are in very readable but distorted english. which adds to the humor a bit. check it out and read it all the way through. you might be heartbroken but overall its worth a read.

especially the "Bravo! you caught an oscar, lets eat it together"

...has to be the japs :D

Was almost expecting more exotic fish to be on the list...

Was almost expecting more exotic fish to be on the list...

your in hong kong. don't forget people in different areas have totally different views of exotic.

i could NEVER obtain any of these fish in hawaii. and alot of the mainland USA has to pay alot of money for some. and who would eat a wolf fish when you can keep one???

In hawaii, wolf fish and piranhas cost like $300+ each on the black market. so its pretty much as exotic as they come... where as puffers and other fish that you might think are "exotic" like that are so abundant here that they are not considered exotic.

we have enough brightly coloured marine fish here that look like a box of crayons but don't look anything close to these fierce predators, its just not as valuable.

RACIST ARE WE
