my daughter woke me up early so I thought I would share a story that I remembered recently. It must have been about 4-5 years ago but I went to Miejer and my grandmother wanted to buy me some fish. Fine. That sounds like a good idea. We get back there and I picked out an ID shark and a kenyi cichlid. The woman scooping them out grabs a bag and puts water directly from the sink into the bag with no dechlorinator or anything  All along I am thinking 'what the heck is she doing!?' I chose to not say anything at the time which was a mistake. I took them and by the time we got to the front of the store the ID shark was dead. I took it back there and she said 'Oh, its fine. Its just in shock' and was mad I wasnt going to take it. The kenyi was fine and rushed it home and lived happily ever after.

You should have slapped her and told her "It's okay, you're just in shock!"
