an O, a con, a FM, and johanna

could that work in a 125g? peanut thinks i should keep my pike, but i'm not sure it would mix well with the other fish in the tank. what do you think? right now the pike is 6"-7". i have 3 Os with the intent to keep only 1 they are about 4". the female con is 3", and the firemouth is only 2.5". any hope of this working? I just don't think the other are aggressive enough.

I'd worry about the pike being the aggressor. Thats a pretty small firemouth and a pretty large pike...it might end up as lunch. Aside from that everything else would be fine, more or less. You might have some problems, but I don't really see any serious ones with your set up. Crenicichla johanna are pretty laid back, as far as pikes go...

i'm worried about the pike being too aggressive for everyone else. i really like the fm and would hate to see him be lunch. I will give it go right now and see how things go. if they go ok he will stay. if the pike doesn't play nice he will go.

yea the only one i wouldnt want getting to seriuosly hurt would be the pike! but that one is the one that woldnt be hurt! i am not saying the others are replaceable(though they are more than the pike) but the only one i seeing as being a problem may only be the FM! but they arent hard to find or expensive! but he could be ok depending on your pike!
