so been almost 3 months since i been back in the swing of things, so far so good. the biggest female is the one with all the sand on her, the lighter one is the male an the one with bright spots is a female.
A ? i have is im looking at a cpl stingray books, one by aqua log, trying to figure out what kind of Motoro, i know there is many kinds or morphs an they use the p number system. i also know that some look a tad diffrent bc there from diffrent rivers but yet all basic motoro's. but my largest female is dark an not so bright. like most common motoro i see. but the one female has very bright spots. could this be they just came from diffrent regions? i got the 2 smallest rays the ones with bright spots together an the guy couldnt give me any info on where he got them from, but that some guy dropped them off. an even the male has bright spots for how light colored he is. but the largest the dark one is from a lfs where they captive breed a pair . the mother of the dark one was also very dark an about 18" id say. guess she has been pumping out pups for a while now lol. but none of her pups had bright spots. the one i picked was the biggest an the darkest in the group. even the lighter colored ones didnt have as bright as spots as my first 2. could this be do to captive breeding? maybe the brightness fades after a while?
