yep, now you see why i wanted to get one for so long?
thanks, when i saw it the first time in its old owners tank with white sand i knew it had some potential. also i knew it was the kind of vatf i was looking for all this time. i wanted a yellow tail vatf, i wouldn't have gotten it if it was a red tail. it is hard to see but all the fins have a golden coloration to them. i don't think the vid and pics do it justice. i need to get a good camera to get some better shots.
you got that right! i have found out that it dislikes aros, dislikes ropefish, kinda tolerates rck and ck. it was fine with discus, but it gets tooooo excited during feedings and when it sees a light reflection off a car window one the side glass....or a red lazer dot from my temp gun. lol
yes, my vatf is calmer, more active, has a tolerance level of other fishes b.s. and my gatf were fine with ropefish, my vatf is not. not to mention the colors. glad i got this fish, one fish i would actually make a species only tank with. that is something huge coming from me.
