what is the best remedy to take care of this problem? any help will be greatly appreciated! thanks in advance.

Might be an idea to list the type of fish your trying to heal as well, since certain fish can be sensitive to certain parasite meds...

+1, That's really a important detail to mention when treating a fish.

its a black arowanna.. it seems to be located next to the eye.

I use Prazi-pro for anything parasite involved internal and external.... whatever you do.. don't manually remove it. I've seen so many fish get a nasty secondary from people yanking them out.. and killing the fish ( usually it's from their butts) Jungle labs parasite clear is also often used.. but I swear by prazi. I usually do 1/2 dos day 1.. 1/2 dos day 2.... then do my usual WC routine ect.... worms still there.. repeat process in 7 days from last dos. UNless I know the fish is "tough as nails" i always 1/2 dos any meds the first time I use them on a specific fish to see how it reacts to it. odd behavior = 50% WC ASAP and carbon ( I don't normally use carbon in my tanks)
