I have noticed that I have an anchor work attached to the tail of my peacock bass. I have read online that I can simply remove the worm with tweezers, but I’m worried that the tank (265 gallon) is contaminated and was thinking about using medication to treat the tank and the bass at the same time. Any suggestions on medications?

Since all my fish at the moment are wild caught, many arrived with Learnae.
I used a salt treatment of 3ppt (parts per thousand) to kill the new young emerging young anchor worms, but salt was not enough to kill adult parasites.
So I resorted to removing them with tweezers.
Some were so embedded parts of fin came off with the Lernea, but the fish recovered nicely
