I’m not sure if I will be able to find it in Canada any more :nutkick:
What about prazi? Have heard metro is no good for rays but they are ok with prazi.
Any idea why its not sold in canada ? I could send you some if you'd like. I dont use it often and tbh i'll probably be dead before i use the whole bottle

Prazi works for other inverts like the Bichir worms that often infect Senegals (My WC fish had them) and a dose of prazi killed it easily. I believe anchor worms are crustaceans and must be dealt with differently.

They are crustaceans. Copper (i believe) and potassium permanganate can work.

Canada eh
What about cuprimine? That has copper right? I might be able to get my hands on some potassium permangenate.

J jaws7777 - they outlawed all kinds of medications here in Canada. So whatever we have left in our fish med cabinets is all we get unfortunately. Thank you for your offer. I appreciate it, but I’m sure there is something a bit more local that I can use. Also thank you for doing this thread, I feel like I’m learning from it.

When I saw this worm, it didn’t have the forked tail or egg sacks. I’m just wondering if I should just keep an eye out to see if anything comes of it before I start bombing my tank with all sorts of meds. Everyone seems to be doing well now. Even the scale that was flipped up is back to normal. Can’t even tell where it was.
