i want to turn my 55 gallon into an all ancient fish tank. I wanted the following fish:
Knife Fish
Needle Nose Gar
Silver Arowana
Would any of those be a problem together?

The only problem might arise in the needlenose and the silver aro. Depending on the size of these two fish, you may end up with one being damaged, or killed.

FYI needlenose are not true gars.

There is a big problem called Big Fish. An arowana won't work in a 55 gallon for very long. This, forgeting the other fish. As long as you get a real tiny arowana and realize, he will fully outgrow that 55 in six months. So, what size tank should you plan to replace it with in six months? No less, I repeat, no less than 180 gallons.

i agree 180 or even a 125, a 55 for some babies. u and your fish will be much happier with a larger tank. if you cant get a larger tank, find something that suits the tank and that you like. good luck
