Canada... i wish.
LOL today i got my two orinos to eat something besides live feeders... one likes bloodworms and the other likes freeze dried krill. so happy. still going to feed feeder fish until the get a bit bigger though. .:headbang2:headbang2

congrats, you know that feeders aren't the best food source for them right? i would mix there diet, freeze dried krill/bloodworms and feeders that way when they are bigger, they will still accept the krill/bloodworms.

yeah but baby pbass will usually only eat live feeders.(if you get them from rich they'll eat pellets) but mine are from RW and they fed them live. but im still in the process of converting them to dry food. just need to put a little more size to them..

ah i see, its still nice to throw a bit of solid or dead food to keep them into that food. congrats again and good luck

Actually the best growth rates/colors/healthy cichla come from feeding feeders (as long as they aren't goldfish.)

congrats!

i never fed any of my babies feeders. got them on shrimp and smelt immediately. they seem fine all 5 azul are 7-10". Orino's eat massivore every time i walk by the tank :D
