Sarahsweetray and I finally got it all worked out and this arrived at my house this morning.
It appears that she slashed through the bags but, came through none the less.
Sarah worked hard at getting her first shipping experience right and I could not be more pleased. The ray is bigger and nicer than I had hoped. I can't say enough about Sarah or the fish.
The acclimation box is a little better than 15" across the bottom. My next biggest female is in the 11.5" diameter range. I have only ever seen one bigger than this (the female I killed about two years ago).
She is a beauty. She is already fighting it out for food with the rest of the gang.
She is the darkest ray in the group and I expect her to lighten up some on my sand over the next few days. The other rays in the picture are my large male (to the left) and my next largest female (to the right).
