Well i finally have my 100 up and running and cycled and a new lungfish tucked away in it's new home. This fish is way more agressive than GOLIATH, and a very active eater as well.
This one is a dark tan in color,with black spots the size of a thumbnail,and little black spots within the large spots.(no spots on the under belly though),it's aprox. 25" and about 2" in dia.(not very well fed i think) This lungfish ate as soon as i put him into the tank and greedily eats tilapia as if there was no tomorrow,the pellets were just not enough to make him robust and maybe not colorful enough,only time will tell.
I am glad he is not in his former home any longer as the arro. he was housed with swallowed him at least twice and he has a battle scar or two.(adds character) This guy said that he changed water every two weeks,but if the water smelled that bad after a water change he needed to step up his changes. So he is all mine and i now own a gray one with black spots,and a tan one with black spots.
Some day a sal is in my future if i can find one for the right price and afford another tank,sorry i sound so cheap,but money is tight as i am trying to pay off my bills as retirement is around the corner,thats all for now by all!
