Yes no problems what so ever , I had a 2ft evil jardini that ate pretty much any tankmate it could fit in its mouth and he left my 10" ornate alone , I've currently got the same ornate in with a smaller jar no trouble there either

Yes they don't get much bigger unless you've got a ridiculous sized tank

I made a mistake with my last 2 bichir and bought them just a tad bit too small. Needless to say, my Lei had them for dinner.

Yeah I could see that being a problem. Mine should be equal to or bigger than the jar I am getting now. I've had them all for abt 3 years

I'm just worried abt them getting beat up or killed from aggression. Btw the Chinese restaurant near my house a pretty jar with abt 4 big blood parrots and a flower horn and geophagus in abt a 90 gal. The jar is abt 14-16" and dosent bother the other fish.
