Somewhere???
set up my first 20g SW tank about 4 months ago. i freakin love it. anyways, with my live rock came an anemone that i was unaware of til the next day. so, when he opened up i was surprised and happy. after a few days he moved from one spot of the tank to another. no big deal. only thing is, he hasnt moved from that spot since then. hes eating and seems to be doin well from my point of view and limited SW experience. figured id ask some guys who got more experience :) is it ok for him not to be movin?

its fine, in fact thats what nems do, they move till they find a spot they like. Usually were theres low current and higher lighting. Post a pic of the nem so we can ID it for you. Im just trying to rule out a certain sp that is a pain to deal with, the glass anemone.

yeah i have never witness mine move when i started the tank, but before you know it, theres hundreds of them that can cause and issue within the tank, as far as taking over. Methodes that can be taken are using hot water to inject into the anemone, lemon juice (my cheap method) or joes juice. These ive notice seem to be the easiest. If you tank is large enough and this particular fish does not butt heads with you stocking plans, then like a copper band butterfly would eat them, as well as peppermints sometime, although ive never had any luck on that
