Doing a sw setup with anemones will a f6 have enough current and flow for an anemone or do I need a fan on the side of the take to make the current stronger

Depends on the size of the tank. They like chaotic flow…wouldn’t be a good idea for the outflow to blast just one side of the anemone.
You can add another power head or wavemaker to make the flow more chaotic. I use an Ecotech Vortech. You could also try and add a rotating water deflector to the outflow pipe of your fx6 and that will randomize the flow if you can make it fit?
